Description

RFID Keychain 125KHz

An RFID Keychain 125KHz with an EM4100/TK4100 chip is an RFID keychain that can be used for various applications such as access control systems and identity verification. The keychain is small and lightweight and can be easily attached to a keychain or bag. The EM4100/TK4100 chip in the keychain uses a frequency of 125KHz and is capable of transferring information wirelessly to a card reader.

The EM4100/TK4100 chip is a passive RFID chip, meaning it does not require a battery to function. The chip is activated when it comes near a card reader that emits an electromagnetic field. At that point, the chip sends the stored information back to the card reader. The key fob can be programmed with different types of information, such as a unique identification number or personal information. The information can be stored on the chip's memory and can be read by the card reader when the key fob is nearby.

The 125KHz key fob with an EM4100/TK4100 chip can be used in various applications such as access control systems, identity verification and time attendance. The key fob is compatible with many different card readers and can be programmed using special programming equipment and software.

RFID Support

The 125KHz key fob with an EM4100/TK4100 chip can be programmed using an RFID programmer and software. The programming device is used to program the information to be stored on the chip and the software is used to manage and edit the information.

There are several types of RFID programming devices available on the market, ranging from handheld portable devices to desktop devices. The programming devices are usually equipped with a USB connector to connect to the computer so that the information to be programmed on the chip can be managed through the software.

The software used to manage and edit the information is usually available as a free downloadable application from the programming device manufacturer. The software allows users to edit and store the information on the chip, such as adding personal information, identification numbers or other information.

Programming the 125KHz key fob with an EM4100/TK4100 chip is usually straightforward and does not require special technical skills. It can be performed by users who have a basic understanding of RFID technology and how it works.

RFID application

The 125KHz key fob with an EM4100/TK4100 chip can be used for various applications, such as access control, security, identification, timekeeping, and so on. Here are some examples of how the product can be applied:

  1. Access control: The key fob can be used to restrict access to a particular building or area. For example, employees can scan their key fob at a card reader to gain access to the building.
  2. Identification: The key fob can be used as a personal identification card, with information such as name, job title, contact information, and so on.
  3. Security: The key fob can be used as a way to secure property, for example by programming a unique identifier that can be used to verify that the person using the key fob is authorized to access certain areas.
  4. Time tracking: The key fob can be used as a way to track employee hours, for example, by programming a unique identifier that can be used to record each employee's work time.
  5. Retail: The keychain can be used as a way to store customer data, such as purchase history, personal preferences, and so on, to support targeted marketing efforts.

In short, the 125KHz key fob with an EM4100/TK4100 chip is a versatile product that can be used for a variety of applications requiring identification and/or security.

1 review for RFID Keychain 125KHz (10 pieces)

  1. Bas Hummel (verified owner)

The product is good but not for the flipper zero! This requires a different RFID chip. EM4100/TK4100 does not work with the flipper (yet).

What are RFID tags?

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags are small electronic devices that store and transmit data via radio waves. They consist of a microchip that contains information and an antenna that can transmit this information to an RFID reader. RFID tags are used for identification and tracking in various applications such as inventory management, access control and logistics.

What RFID tags do I need?

This depends on the system you use. It is advisable to know in advance which RFID chips are compatible. If you have any questions about this, please contact info@nfcw.nl.

How can I program RFID tags?

RFID tags can be programmed with an RFID reader/writer compatible with the type of tag you are using. We recommend using the following reader/writer: https://nfcw-shop.com/rfid-reader/rfid-lezer/. This reader can be connected to your computer with a USB cable and supports most common RFID tags.

Can I program an RFID tag multiple times?

Yes, our RFID tags are rewritable and can be programmed multiple times.

How long does an RFID tag last?

Our RFID tags have an unlimited lifespan because they have no internal battery. The chips use power from the reader/writer. This makes them last for years by default.

At what frequency can these chips be written?

These chips are designed to operate at a frequency of 125 kHz for both read and write applications.
