Complete fixed RFID solution with LTE and high-gain GA30 antenna
The Brady FR22 fixed RFID reader LTE EU with GA30 antenna is designed for applications where maximum read range, high reliability and autonomous connectivity are essential. This configuration combines the powerful Brady FR22 fixed RFID reader with integrated LTE and the Brady GA30 global band antenna, creating a complete and self-contained RFID solution for demanding industrial environments.
FR22 LTE as a robust and autonomous system heart
The FR22 LTE is the technical heart of this solution and is equipped with a new generation UHF RFID engine based on state-of-the-art technology. This allows the system to process up to 1,000 RFID tags per second, even in high tag density environments. Support of the ISO 18000-63 EPC Class 1 Gen2 v2 standard ensures broad compatibility with UHF RFID tags within Europe and international applications. Thanks to built-in LTE connectivity, the reader operates completely autonomously without relying on Ethernet or WiFi, making this solution ideal for remote locations or temporary installations.
GA30 global band antenna with true circular polarization
The Brady GA30 antenna is a high-gain global band antenna with true circular polarization. This allows RFID tags to be read reliably regardless of their orientation. This is especially important in dynamic environments where tags move, tilt or are positioned unpredictably. The GA30's high gain provides a very long read range, requiring fewer antennas to cover large areas.
Reliable performance on any surface, including metal
A key advantage of the GA30 antenna is that it is usable on all surfaces, including metal structures. Combined with the FR22 LTE, this provides stable and consistent RFID performance even in industrial environments with machinery, racks and metal infrastructures. The antenna performs reliably in all directions and contributes to even read coverage within the read field.
Seamless mounting and centralized configuration.
The Brady FR22 LTE mounts directly to the back of the GA30 antenna, resulting in a compact and convenient installation. The reader runs on a stable Linux operating system and features a quad-core A7 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash storage. Through the integrated Web management interface, you manage and configure the system centrally. Integration with existing IT and OT systems is via NUR API, RESTful APIs, OPC UA Auto-ID server and SSH access.
Designed for demanding industrial applications
With an IP65 rating, Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3at) support and rugged industrial construction, this solution is suitable for fixed installations in demanding environments. The Brady FR22 LTE with GA30 antenna is used for applications such as asset tracking, inventory management, inspection labeling and RFID labeling within industries such as logistics, manufacturing, energy, healthcare and high-tech manufacturing, where maximum read range and autonomous connectivity are critical.
