Program your own NFC tag

Follow these simple steps with the NFC Tools app to program Wi-Fi settings:

Download the NFC Tools app (free for Android - wifi sharing currently only works on Android)
Open the app and choose "Add data" → "Wifi network"
Enter your network name (SSID), security type (e.g. WPA2) and password
Go to 'Write' and hold the NFC tag against your phone
Done! Your tag now automatically shares your Wi-Fi data
