From start to now

The foundation of NFC World
January 2018
In January 2018, Emiel Wessels founded NFC World. Just from home, with three products and a large dose of curiosity. The ambition? To help companies work smarter using NFC technology.
Expansion of product range
March 2018
Soon the range expanded. New chips, different sizes, more colors. And then the first RFID products arrived. We grew along with the demands of our customers.
Product launch of the NFC business cards
April 2020
In early 2020, we launched the first dashboard for our NFC business cards. Customers could now manage their own profiles, edit links and collect leads. Less than two months later, our NFC business card was a reality. Within no time we received the first enthusiastic responses. Demand increased immediately. A clear signal that the market was ready.
The business market is discovering NFC
January 2022
Starting in the fall, the larger B2B orders poured in. Companies opted en masse for NFC business cards. A big step towards professional networking in a smart way. The other products were also picked up by the business market.
New phase, new people
February 2022 - June 2022
In February 2022, Daniël Kuipers became co-owner, former employer of Emiel at Online Marketing Agency. In the period since then we have grown rapidly and strengthened our team.
Product launch of the Google review products
November 2022
In May 2023 we introduced our Google review products: cards, stickers and displays that allow companies to collect reviews faster. We were one of the first in the Netherlands and it immediately took a storm.
New office
March 2024
We outgrew our premises and moved to a larger space in the same building in March. With our own stock and production space, we were finally able to really scale up.
In-house print production
November 2024
To deliver faster and have more control over quality, we bought our own professional printer in November 2024. Since then we have been doing all print production in-house from NFC cards to review displays.

With everything we've learned, all the feedback we've turned into action, and a team that builds something special every day with full energy, we look ahead with confidence. We are setting our own course, continually investing in innovation and doing everything we can to help our customers work faster, smarter and more efficiently. This is just the beginning. We are going for it.

Emiel is the founder of NFC World. From his marketing background, he sees how NFC technology simplifies processes. With NFC World, he develops solutions that allow companies to share information faster and smarter.

Daniel is co-owner of NFC World and owner of Online Marketing Agency. He thinks strategically about the growth of NFC World and uses his agency to strengthen our marketing.

Gerjan van den Hoorn

As an all-around employee at NFCW, Gerjan makes sure everything runs smoothly, from the smallest details to large projects. He is the man who gets everything done.

Rutger Wessels

Rutger is actually retired, but still likes to help his son. Especially to prove that he is still faster than the younger guard.

Aron Vermeulen

Aron is an operations employee at NFC World. He ensures that production runs smoothly: from controlling the printer to preparing orders.
