The FR22 LTE is the technical heart of this solution and is equipped with a new generation UHF RFID engine based on the latest technology. As a result, the system processes up to 1,000 RFID tags per second, even in high tag density environments. Support for the ISO 18000-63 EPC Class 1 Gen2 v2 standard ensures broad compatibility with UHF RFID tags within Europe. This makes the kit suitable for both standard identification and complex industrial tracking applications.

Beamforming BFA 868 ceiling antenna with directional detection.

The Brady BFA 868 is an advanced ceiling antenna with 28 software-controlled, overlapping beams. This beamforming provides exceptionally high read coverage and accuracy. All beams can be activated simultaneously for maximum RFID performance. The integrated motion and direction detection sensor enables not only the detection of objects, but also their direction of movement and position within a room. This provides valuable spatial insight beyond traditional RFID solutions.

Built-in LTE for autonomous communication

The FR22 LTE runs on a stable Linux operating system and features a quad-core A7 processor with 1 GB RAM. Through the integrated Web management interface, you configure and manage the entire system centrally. Developers can develop their own web apps with user interface, without an external PC or tablet. Integration with existing IT and OT systems is via RESTful APIs, NUR API, OPC UA Auto-ID server and SSH access.
