Dual frequency RFID tags for versatile identification.
These dual-frequency RFID labels are designed for professional applications where flexibility, reliability and read range are essential. Thanks to the combination of UHF and HF technology, these labels can be used in sectors as diverse as retail, industry, logistics, media and product authentication. One label works with different RFID systems, making management easier and increasing compatibility.
The labels are optimized for use on non-metallic surfaces such as cardboard, wood, plastic and glass. This makes them widely applicable within existing processes without modifications to infrastructure or materials.
Dual frequency UHF and HF in one RFID label
This RFID label combines UHF and HF in one solution. The UHF chip operates at a universal frequency of 860-960 MHz and complies with EPC Class 1 Gen2v2 and ISO 18000-63. The HF chip operates at 13.56 MHz and conforms to ISO 15693. This makes the label readable with both UHF readers for longer distances and HF readers for short and controlled interactions.
The UHF part offers a reading range of up to 4.8 meters, while HF is suitable for applications where proximity and accuracy are important. This makes the label suitable for combined use cases such as inventory management and access control or identification and authentication.
Durable polyester label for indoor and outdoor use
The label is constructed of a glossy white polyester material that can withstand harsh conditions. It functions reliably within a temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Legibility is maintained even when exposed to UV light.
The aluminum antenna is attached to the chip with anisotropic conductive film adhesive. This ensures a stable electrical connection and consistent performance. The permanent acrylic adhesive provides strong adhesion to a variety of non-metallic surfaces.
Suitable for thermal transfer printing and coding.
Designed for thermal transfer printing, these RFID labels can be printed smoothly with fixed information, bar codes or variable data. The labels come with RFID coding included and are fully inspected. Each roll contains 500 approved labels, with any defective labels clearly marked.
The labels are wound outwards, which ensures efficient processing in industrial printers such as the Sato CL4NX Plus. This makes them suitable for large-scale production environments and continuous label flows.
Applications in logistics, retail and identification
The combination of read distance, durability and dual frequency makes these RFID labels useful for inventory and inspection labeling, general identification and tracking within supply chains. They also offer a reliable solution for product authentication and media applications.
For organizations working with multiple RFID standards or requiring different reading distances, these dual frequency RFID labels are a future-proof choice.
