Moisture-sensitive UHF RFID labels for monitoring and identification.

These moisture-sensitive UHF RFID labels are designed for applications that involve moisture detection in addition to identification. The label combines RFID technology with an integrated moisture sensor, allowing changes in ambient moisture to be detected. This makes the label suitable for sectors such as construction, healthcare, retail, industry and logistics, where moisture can affect product quality, safety or storage conditions.

The antenna is designed for use on non-metallic surfaces. As a result, the label functions reliably on materials such as cardboard, wood, plastic and glass without additional insulation or modifications.

UHF RFID technology with integrated moisture sensor

The label operates on UHF frequency within the range of 860-960 MHz and complies with EPC Class 1 Gen2v2 and ISO 18000-63 standards. Thanks to this standardization, the label is compatible with common UHF RFID readers and existing RFID infrastructures.

Designed for general applications, the integrated moisture sensor can detect changes in moisture content in the immediate environment. Combined with RFID readings, this provides insight into when products or materials have been exposed to moisture, without the need for physical inspection. The maximum read range is up to 2.7 meters, which is suitable for controlled scanning environments.

Durable polyester label for indoor and outdoor use

The RFID label is made of glossy white polyester and designed for long-term use. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and retains its performance when exposed to UV light. The label functions reliably within a temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C.

The chip is attached to an aluminum antenna using anisotropic conductive film adhesive. This construction ensures stable electrical properties and consistent read performance. The permanent acrylic adhesive provides strong adhesion to a variety of non-metallic surfaces.

Suitable for thermal transfer printing and industrial processing

These moisture-sensitive RFID labels are suitable for thermal transfer printing and can be printed with text, bar codes or variable data. The labels come with RFID coding included and are fully controlled during production.

Rolls are wound outward and contain 500 approved labels per roll. Any deviating labels are marked, ensuring efficient handling in production and logistics environments. The labels are compatible with a variety of industrial printers, including models from Sato and TSC.
