UHF temperature sensitive RFID labels for reliable monitoring.
These glossy white temperature-sensitive UHF RFID polyester labels are designed for applications where temperature detection and digital identification must be combined. The label functions as a general purpose temperature sensor and can be applied to a wide range of non-metallic surfaces. This makes it suitable for situations where temperature variations affect quality, safety or process control within professional environments.
Combining temperature indication and UHF RFID technology, this label offers both remote detection and identification. This makes the label deployable within logistics, industrial and technical processes where continuous monitoring is desired.
UHF RFID technology with wide read range
The label operates on UHF frequency within the range of 860 to 960 MHz and complies with EPC Class 1 Gen2v2 and ISO 18000-63. This makes it compatible with common UHF RFID readers and existing RFID infrastructures. The applied RF Micron Magnus S3E chip is designed for temperature-related applications and delivers stable read and detection performance.
The maximum reading range is up to nine meters, allowing objects to be efficiently read without physical contact. This supports inventory, inspections and automated monitoring processes in a variety of environments.
Temperature detection for process monitoring
The UHF temperature label allows identification of whether an object has been exposed to temperatures outside predetermined limits. This is relevant within processes where temperature control is essential, such as storage, transportation or manufacturing.
The combination of temperature detection and RFID readout allows temperature information to be digitally recorded and linked to individual objects or batches. This provides additional insight into process conditions without manual measurements or additional sensors.
Durable B-423 polyester for indoor and outdoor use
The label is made of glossy white B-423 polyester and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It functions reliably within a temperature range of -70 °C to 110 °C and is resistant to UV light and mechanical stress. As a result, the label remains usable for a long time in demanding environments.
The material is halogen-free and UL-approved and CSA-accepted for the white material, supporting application in regulated environments.
Reliable construction and mounting
The RFID chip is attached to an aluminum antenna using anisotropic conductive film adhesive. This construction ensures stable electrical performance and consistent readability. The antenna is designed for mounting on non-metallic surfaces such as cardboard, wood, plastic and glass.
Industrial and logistics applications
These temperature-sensitive UHF RFID labels are used for temperature indication, general identification and RFID labeling in industrial, logistics, manufacturing and technical environments. They support processes where monitoring, traceability and reliability are key.
