The reader processes up to 1,000 RFID tags per second and achieves a reading range of up to 10 meters, depending on the tags and environment used. Thanks to support for the ISO 18000-63 EPC Class 1 Gen2 v2 standard, the Sampo S3 is compatible with common UHF RFID tags within Europe and international applications.

Integrated antenna with circular polarization.

The reader features a built-in antenna with circular polarization, allowing RFID tags to be read reliably regardless of their orientation. The Sampo S3 offers extensive connectivity options, including Ethernet, USB-C, USB host, GPIO, WiFi and Bluetooth. With support for Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3at), only one cable is required for power and data. VESA 75/100 mounting allows the reader to be easily attached to walls, ceilings or workstations, keeping installation flexible and neat.
