The RGD-UHF-M-PET-27×27 is a compact, square UHF RFID tag designed for reliable tracking of industrial assets in demanding environments. Thanks to its small size and robust construction, this tag is easy to integrate into a variety of applications within warehouses, manufacturing environments and logistics processes. The tag is suitable for use with both fixed RFID readers and mobile handheld readers, making it flexibly deployable in existing infrastructures.

Optimized for metal surfaces

This UHF RFID tag is specifically optimized for mounting on metal surfaces. The advanced antenna design combined with a high-performance chip ensures stable performance on metal, with a read range of up to approximately 5 meters at maximum allowed read power. This makes the tag suitable for applications where reliable reading is essential, such as asset management, inventory and logistics tracking.

In addition to metal, the tag can also be applied to non-metallic surfaces such as plastic, wood, glass and cardboard. This allows one type of tag to be used for different assets within the same environment, simplifying standardization.

Rugged housing for harsh environments

The RGD-UHF-M-PET-27×27 features an outdoor resistant PET housing with IP68 rating. This means the tag is completely dust-proof and can withstand prolonged exposure to water and moisture. This keeps the tag functioning reliably in industrial environments where dirt, cleaning and weather conditions are a factor.

The tag functions within a temperature range of -35 °C to 85 °C and is designed for long-term use in harsh conditions without loss of performance or readability.

Flexible mounting and personalization

The tag can be attached by screwing or sticking, depending on the application and type of asset. This provides flexibility for installation on machines, containers, tools or transportation equipment. In addition, the tag is customizable with laser engraving, allowing unique identifications, serial numbers or company information to be permanently affixed.

With dimensions of 27 × 27 mm and a compact height, the tag remains discreet while still being clearly identifiable during scans.
