The RGD UHF M PET 85×21 is a rugged UHF RFID tag designed for reliable tracking of industrial assets in demanding environments. With its compact design and strong technical performance, this tag is suitable for integration into a variety of product machinery and logistics applications. The tag performs excellently on metal surfaces but can also be applied to non-metallic materials such as plastic wood glass and cardboard.

Optimized for metal and long read distances

The RGD UHF M PET 85×21 features a powerful UHF chip and advanced antenna design. As a result, the tag achieves a reading range of up to approximately six meters on non-metallic surfaces and up to fifteen meters on metallic surfaces. This enables fast and contactless identification with fixed RFID readers or portable handheld scanners in operational environments.

Support for the universal UHF frequency band of 860 to 960 MHz according to ETSI guidelines ensures compatibility with common RFID systems. This allows the tag to be easily integrated into existing infrastructures without technical modifications or complex reconfiguration.

Designed for harsh industrial conditions

The tag's outer casing is designed for long-term use in harsh industrial conditions. Thanks to its IP68 rating, the tag is completely dust-proof and can withstand prolonged exposure to moisture water and dirt. In addition, the tag functions reliably within a temperature range of minus thirty-five to eighty-five degrees Celsius.

Rugged construction ensures the tag can withstand shock vibration and daily wear and tear which is important when mounted on mobile asset machines or production equipment.

Flexible mounting and personalization

The RGD UHF M PET 85×21 can be attached by screwing or adhesive depending on the application and surface. This provides flexibility in installation on different types of assets and materials. In addition, the tag is customizable with laser engraving that allows unique identifications serial numbers or logos to be permanently affixed.
